Description: 

This position is a great opportunity in San Jose. Our college, Institute for Business & Technology (IBT), is seeking to hire a Career Services Representative to assist graduates with their job search upon graduation from the programs offered. IBT is a premier career training provider specializing in opportunities with good growth and income potential. IBT graduates are sought after by employers throughout the Bay Area. If you would like to help others by maintaining relationships with current employers throughout the Bay Area, as well as forge new relationships with other potential employers, then this could be the position you are searching for.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

In order to assist graduates in their search for meaningful employment, IBT’s Career Services staff will organize and maintain current job postings, develop relationships with employers in related fields and assist students with resume development and interview skills.  

Job Posting - Maintain current job postings for student referrals. Event Planning - Job fairs, high school career days, and guest speakers at the school facility. Employer Relations - Develop industry relationships with employers to assist graduates with job placement. Student Services - Assist students and graduates with resume preparation, interview skills and job referrals.  

Compensation - $24 hr. and up (based on experience) + benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k, PTO, and more. If you have high energy, enjoy helping others and are up for a challenge then we want to hear from you.
