What to Expect
As a Facilities Engineer (FE), you will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. You will oversee facility operations, drive compliance with safety standards, and support cost-effective, reliable performance across all infrastructure and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise installations (e.g., telecommunications, heating, electrical systems) and facility refurbishments.
  • Manage equipment and supply maintenance in alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Inspect building structures to identify repair or renovation needs and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and inspections, and lead the development of safety policies and procedures.
  • Optimize the use of space, utilities, and equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies for cost reduction.
  • Assist in budget preparation, manage operating expenses, and oversee service contracts and insurance plans.
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align facility operations with production and organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders regarding facility performance and equipment operations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of facility engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of facility design, construction, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong commitment to deadlines and production objectives.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 based on knowledge, experience, and qualification
Work Location: temporarily San Jose, CA until move to new facility in Sunnyvale, CA in late 2026 (on-site daily)
