Summary
The Facilities Engineer plays a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This position oversees facility operations, supports regulatory compliance, and drives the cost-effective performance of building infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise facility installations, including telecommunications, heating, electrical systems, and refurbishment projects.
- Manage equipment and supply maintenance in alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Inspect building structures to identify repair or renovation needs and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine safety audits and inspections and lead the development of safety policies and procedures.
- Optimize the use of space, utilities, and equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies for cost reduction.
- Assist in budget preparation, manage operating expenses, and oversee service contracts and insurance plans.
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
- Collaborate cross – functionally to align facility operations with production and organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders regarding facility performance and equipment operations.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of facility design, construction, and maintenance best practices.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong commitment to deadlines and production objectives.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent professional experience.
- Three to five years of facility engineering experience.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $130,000
