Summary
The Facility Maintenance Repair I position is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance and repair activities to support safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, installations, and general facility upkeep while ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and relevant industrial maintenance experience working with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, pipe fitting, and general facility maintenance. Pump repair or rebuild experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong industrial maintenance experience and transferable mechanical skills will be considered.
This is a hands-on maintenance position for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the facility.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, basic pipe installations, and electrical work.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility equipment, machinery, and support systems.
- Perform repairs and upkeep involving electrical systems, pipe fitting, plumbing, HVAC systems, boilers, and mechanical equipment.
- Repair and rebuild pumps and other industrial equipment as needed.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on compressors, air dryers, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
- Assist higher-level maintenance personnel with larger and more complex maintenance projects.
- Support loading dock maintenance and repair activities as needed.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other facility equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

- 2+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repair experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial equipment required.
- Pump repair and rebuild experience preferred; candidates with strong transferable industrial maintenance skills will be considered.
- Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC, boilers, welding, or other mechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance priorities.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment and follow established safety procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other facility equipment as required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete maintenance-related documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding maintenance work.
