Description
What will you do in this role? As a Hardware EPM, you will own and track engineering development schedules, working closely alongside teams of electrical and mechanical engineers to coordinate the release the designs for hardware subsystems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering 3+ yrs of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics Demonstrated ability to work through system-level development tradeoffs Proven track record of managing complex hardware product schedules and engineering builds down to the small details Proactive and highly self-motivated; good critical thinking capabilities and strong attention to detail Ability to operate well in an environment with rapid development cycles and constant change Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners to establish a daily build plan, provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives Willingness to travel internationally to support development builds
Preferred Qualifications
Program / Project management experience Experience with camera systems, display and optics technologies, and/or wearable consumer electronics Experience driving a highly diverse set of cross-functional team members and perspectives and yielding the best possible product solution Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners to establish a daily build plan, provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives
