Job Overview
Joyful Learning Educational Development Center is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Education Teacher to provide high-quality care and instruction in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions.
Responsibilities
- Â Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities and lessonsÂ
-  Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical developmentÂ
- Â Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroomÂ
- Â Use positive behavior guidance and active supervisionÂ
- Â Complete lesson plans, observations, and required documentationÂ
- Â Communicate professionally with families and staffÂ
- Â Follow Title 22, Title 5, health, and safety regulationsÂ
- Â Participate in trainings, meetings, and safety drillsÂ
Qualifications
- Â Minimum 12 ECE units required or a valid permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)Â
- Â Experience in preschool or childcare settings preferredÂ
- Â CPR/First Aid certification preferredÂ
- Â Must pass Live Scan, TB test,Â
- Â Ability to lift up to 40 poundsÂ
