We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan

  • Teach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioning

  • Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plus

  • Experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred

  • Certification as an occupational therapy assistant
