We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated skilled nursing facility in San Jose, CA. Nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley, San Jose offers the perfect blend of career opportunity and lifestyle. Details of the role:- Anticipated start date: Flexible
- Salary range: Up to $1,800 weekly
- Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks
- Implement PT-directed treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercise and mobility training
- Assist with gait, balance, and transfers
- Monitor patient response and report changes to PT
- Document treatments accurately and timely
- Support fall prevention and safety measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
- Educate residents on exercises and safety
- Assist with discharge planning
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active California PTA license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
