Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QA Intern. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the quality assurance documentation for an ISO-certified company. Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 standards, supporting internal audits, and ensuring all documents are accurately managed and updated.

This opportunity is intended for students who are in their final semester or have recently graduated. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Maintain and update QA documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Assist in reviewing and refining control documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Maintain both hard copy and electronic document archives.

  • Software Administration: Manage quality systems software and intranet pages for data updates and document control.

  • Report Compilation: Prepare semi-monthly Quality Metrics reports and summarize customer survey data for management review.

  • Purchase Requests: Handle purchase requests and orders as needed.

  • Audit Support: Scheduling and performing internal audits and following up on corrective action until closure.

  • Customer Support: Provide support for customer quality tasks, including certifications and RFIs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Associate of Arts (AA) degree; preference for BSc in English or Business with technical writing experience or Engineering Degree.

  • Skills: Excellent English communication skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards is beneficial.

  • Experience: Experience in electronic/semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

  • Attributes: Confident, self-motivated, team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in developing skills in workflow management, quality assurance, and project management.

  • Ability to interface effectively with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The target hiring range for this position $20/hr - $30/hour.
