Position Summary:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative tasks and assists with special assignments and projects in support of the company’s safety function.  May assist in coordinating safety services for specific groups, managers, departments and/or project teams.

What You Will Do
  • Manages onboarding for craft team members (new-hire paperwork, coordinate safety orientation and paperwork review)
  • Develops and updates SSSPs (Site Specific Safety Procedures) for various jobs
  • Develops and maintains JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) library and manages folders
  • Administers craft drug testing and tracking
  • Organizes safety files and updates safety training log
  • Formats safety training slideshows using PowerPoint
  • Administers apprentice evaluation process
  • Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices. 
  • Maintain a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed.
  • Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.


What You Will Need to be Successful
  • High school graduate or equivalent and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure of various deadlines
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
