Responsibilities & Skills

The Senior Director of Analog IC Design is responsible for guiding and developing a team of analog IC designers to drive innovation, create differentiated solutions, and ensure robust execution for all analog, mixed-signal circuits in our product portfolio. The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership to drive robust analog/mixed-signal designs from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities:

Ā· Drive an innovative analog/mixed-signal roadmap aligned with business objectives

Ā· Lead architecture, circuit design, and verification of analog/mixed-signal blocks, as well as their integration into large, complex, digital chips

Ā· Lead post-silicon measurements, characterization, and debug of analog blocks

Ā· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones (e.g. digital design, verification, product engineering, marketing, and applications)

Ā· Lead/mentor a team of analog engineers

Ā 

Qualifications:

Ā· BS, MS, and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Ā· Multiple years of experience working in analog/mixed-signal circuit design (BSEE, 17+ years, MS 15+ years, PhD 12+ years) with at least 4 years in a leadership role

Ā· Proven design experience in most of the following analog, mixed-signal circuits: SerDes receivers/transmitters, low-jitter PLLs, oscillators, phase interpolators, ADC/DAC, high speed clock distribution, bandgap/bias, and voltage regulators

Ā· In-depth knowledge of transistor mismatch, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques

Ā· Experience designing circuits in advanced FinFET technologies

Ā· Proficient in AMS design flows, tools, and methodologies like Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, Spectre, layout, and analog behavioral modeling

Ā· Lead and mentor a team of analog designers across geographies, including performance management

Ā· Detailed oriented, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment

Ā· Define and drive best practices/methodology for design

Benefits:The base pay for this role is between $224,000 to $280,000 per year.
