Title: Senior Marketing Coordinator


Reports to: Marketing Manager


Summary of Position:
The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Blach Construction's marketing and business development efforts through the management and execution of proposals, qualifications packages, pursuit strategies, and marketing collateral.


The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented marketing professional with 3-5 years of experience in the AEC industry who thrives on accuracy, creativity, and producing polished, strategic marketing materials that help win work and tell the brand story for Blach.


Responsibilities:

Proposal & Pursuit Management

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and interview submissions from kickoff through final delivery.
  • Develop tailored, client-focused messaging and written content for proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and interviews.
  • Establish and manage proposal schedules, milestones, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations, preconstruction, project teams, executives, and external partners to gather content and finalize submissions.
  • Maintain and continuously improve proposal templates, boilerplate content, resume libraries, project sheets, and pursuit resources.
  • Support interview preparation efforts, including presentation development, logistics coordination, and production of leave-behind materials.
  • Assist with strategic pursuit planning and go/no-go discussions as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry required.
  • Demonstrated success independently managing proposals and pursuits in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing databases; Cosential experience preferred.
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Location: Northern California (Bay Area)


Position Status: Full-time, regular business hours, non-exempt
