Senior QA Test Engineer

Apogee Global RMS is looking for a Senior QA Test Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance across the entire development lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands‑on testing expertise, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend components
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Validate functionality, performance, security, and usability across releases
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality
• Contribute to automation frameworks and CI/CD testing pipelines
• Ensure regression coverage and maintain test documentation
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and quality gates

• 3–7+ years of QA/testing experience in fast‑paced engineering environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with manual testing and automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation
• Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and collaborate with engineering teams
• Strong communication skills and a detail‑oriented mindset

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation frameworks in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Understanding of security testing fundamentals
