Description
As a highly technical and motivated Sensing Systems Engineer, you possess a comprehensive understanding of cameras, motion sensors, and other sensing technologies. You are experienced in designing constellations of sensors that address the overall perceptual requirements of a system. You possess a deep understanding of how sensor choices impact system-level features, and how system-level requirements can in turn constrain sensing solutions. You have a keen sense of user experience as it is impacted by sensing strategy and can effectively communicate these complex trades. A key focus of your work will be to explore the design space of sense constellations and to frame and moderate the system-level trades that optimize the product design in terms of product size, cost, power, and performance. This is a highly cross-functional and interdependent role where you will collaborate with sensor module, hardware, product design, algorithm, and user experience teams on a regular basis.
