Description
Work on the electrical and physical design of high-speed interface systems. Work on the electrical extraction and validation of PCB and FLEX. Work with connector/Cable/FLEX vendors to optimize design and guarantee robustness. SI and PI modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed interfaces, and PDN. Perform feasibility study, design verification, and sign-off. Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity. Work with manufacture and system engineering to debug and improve product yield. Work with cross-functional teams to solve and enhance SIPI issues that affect Desense and EMI.
Minimum Qualifications
M.S. Degree in EE or related field with relevant industry-level work experience. Strong EE fundamentals and problem-solving skills. Strong academic background in EM theory and coupling mechanisms. Familiarity with all aspects of Signal Integrity for high-speed SerDes, parallel bus, single-ended signaling, as well as Power Integrity. Hands-on experience in EM and circuit simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, CST, ADS/Spice/Spectre, Cadence/Sigrity, scripting languages (Python, Perl). Measurement expertise with frequency and time domain tools (VNA, Spectrum analyzer, TDR, Oscilloscope).
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in EE or related field with a minimum of 3~5 years of experience. A strong background in system-level signal and power integrity. A passion for engineering, the ability to work independently, and a demonstrated ability to innovate are required. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
