Software Engineer Intern — Solution Development

Duration: 12 weeks, Mon-Fri (w/ 1 hour lunch)

Internship Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering team to build and improve AI-powered internal tools and customer-facing capabilities, with an emphasis on understanding why we’re building something (business context) before jumping into code. 
- Prototype, test, and validate ideas quickly; communicate what you learned and incorporate feedback. 
- Contribute production-quality code with guidance, including basic unit tests, documentation, and adherence to team standards. 
- Stay current with AI technologies and development tools; share relevant learnings with the team.

Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication 
- Proficiency in Python/Java/JavaScript and Databricks platforms
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies and frameworks 
- Collaboration and teamwork 
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Coursework and/or project experience in software development
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools
- Interest in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles is a plus
- Interest in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry is a plus
