How You’ll Shape Our SuccessÂ
As a Sustaining Technician I at TSS, you’ll help keep critical Gas Life Safety Systems (GLSS) operating safely and reliably within semiconductor manufacturing facilities.Â
This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, test system functionality, and respond when issues arise. You don’t need to come in knowing everything about GLSS—we’ll provide on-the-job training. We’re looking for someone who is mechanically and electrically inclined, enjoys solving problems, and is ready to learn in a highly technical environment.Â
What You’ll Take Ownership OfÂ
Perform routine maintenance on Gas Life Safety Systems according to company and manufacturer proceduresÂ
Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults and alarmsÂ
Test GLSS devices and verify system functionalityÂ
Perform sensor changeouts, device calibrations, and functional testingÂ
Maintain accurate inventory and service recordsÂ
Support live system testing and permit inspectionsÂ
Respond to building alarms and evacuations as neededÂ
Provide supporting system data to ERT and EHS teamsÂ
Maintain required onsite and TSS training and complianceÂ
What You’ll BringÂ
Required:Â
High school diploma or GEDÂ
Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting aptitudeÂ
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the broader teamÂ
Strong communication and organizational skillsÂ
Ability to adapt and reprioritize in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Basic computer skillsÂ
Ability to meet the physical and environmental requirements of the roleÂ
Ability to pass a background checkÂ
Nice to have, but not required:Â
Understanding of low-voltage electrical controlsÂ
PLC/HMI experienceÂ
Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or semiconductor facilitiesÂ
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and AccessÂ

Your Day-to-Day EnvironmentÂ
This is an onsite, hands-on role supporting semiconductor facilities in the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area.Â
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PMÂ
Some weekend work may be requiredÂ
Participate in an overnight on-call rotation (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) approximately one week per monthÂ
Must live within approximately 45 minutes of Santa Clara/SunnyvaleÂ
Work takes place in both office and cleanroom/field environmentsÂ
Regularly work on your feet for extended periodsÂ
Use and carry ladders up to 12 feet and work from elevated platforms up to 24 feetÂ
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Â
