Overview:
The Technical Writer writes, edits, and publishes high-quality documentation deliverables including printed manuals, work instruction, PDFs, multimedia content, and web-based material. The Technical Writer attends meetings and proactively gathers technical information from engineering, manufacturing, safety, facility, and subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities:
Plan and complete specific publication schedules to meet deadlines. This includes developing the draft, getting feedback, implementing updates, getting final approval, and completing publication. Some documents may require collecting  information from multiple groups, departments, or business units.
- Create new work instructions by observing part installations, testing processes, or development builds.
- Review engineering redlines and update work instructions written in Microsoft Word.
- Interview engineers and technicians to accurately document new installation and operational steps.
- Generate graphics and illustration from solid models.
- Write, edit, and publish System Technical Manuals.
- Assemble Customer Document Set for shipment with system.
- Create Technical, Field, and Safety Bulletins.
- Work effectively in cleanroom environments as required

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Â
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience producing documentation for complex technical systems (semiconductor, capital equipment, industrial automation) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
- Strong ability to proactively gather, verify, and produce technical information.
- Organize and present information in appropriate media to the intended audience, (e.g., written manuals, online documentation, multimedia).
- Portfolio showing competency in technical manuals, service bulletins, work instructions, and procedural documentation.
- Software proficiencies: MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
- Experience with 3D modeling a plus, SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.
- Technical background in semiconductor or other capital equipment a plus.
- Strong understanding of the written English language. Â
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $101,984.00—$129,180,, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
