We have a great opportunity for an Entry Level Calibration Process Operator to join our team in San Jose, CA. 

  

The Calibration Process Operator is an apprentice-level role responsible for executing defined calibration processes using established procedures, software, and equipment. This position focuses on operational accuracy, workflow consistency, and proper documentation. Ideal for individuals seeking to begin a career in the Tech Sector, this role provides a structured pathway.


  • Operate calibration equipment, fixtures, and software according to documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform step-by-step calibration processes with a focus on repeatability and adherence to specifications.
  • Enter results into the calibration management system (CMS) with high accuracy.
  • Prepare instruments for calibration (visual inspection, cleaning, basic setup).
  • Package, label, and stage completed instruments for final review or shipment.
  • Follow safety, quality, and environmental guidelines at all times.
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and escalate to a senior technician or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment warm-up, verification checks, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in training to progress toward Calibration Technician I capabilities.
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Requirements


  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.  Technical coursework a plus. 
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency (data entry, navigation of software tools).
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn technical concepts over time.
  • Ability to lift and handle instruments safely.
  • Experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, quality control, or similar process-driven environments preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, multimeters, torque tools, etc.) preferred, but not required
