Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP) 

Adobe’s AEP and RTCDPprovide a powerful customer experience management platform that allows businesses to collect and manage large-scale customer data across channels and create profiles and audiencesto deliver personalized experiences. AEP and RTCDP integrate seamlessly with Adobe’s core services, enhancing our capabilities in real-time data capture, decisioning, and customer journey optimization. Familiarity with AEP will be highly beneficial as it underpins many of our newest capabilities across Adobe products.  

Join our dynamic team responsible for delivering a market-leading Collaboration product that revolutionizes Advertising and co-marketing efforts by bringing together top brands, large scale publishers, and data providers in a privacy safe, super fast, and highly cost-effective system. We focus on foundational elements such as Advertising Planning, Activation, Measurement, and Identity. Our goal is to lay the groundwork for higher-level services essential for our Brand and Publisher customers. You will work on high-traffic, high-visibility applications, handling immense amounts of data and solving challenging scaling problems.

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop critical data processing workflows, high performance microservices, and advertising-related methodologies and deliver them to production at scale 

  • Articulate the choice of accurate tools and technologies 

  • Translate high-level requirements into meaningful tasks and actions. 

  • Optimize distributed microservices and big data applications to reduce cost and enhance availability 

  • Lead sophisticated, large-scale projects in an Agile environment using Java, Jenkins, and Spark 

  • Collaborate with multi-functional specialists (Product Management, Design, Engineering, etc.) to launch customer-focused solutions 

  • Communicate clearly with leadership to define goals 

  • Market ideas across teams and organizations 

  • Be a technical leader with the ability and desire to mentor other team members 

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning 

 

What You Need to Succeed 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 

  • 9+ years of industry software development experience 

  • Hands-on experience with open-source technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka 

  • Proven record of delivering highly optimized code in Scala/Java 

  • Proven experience working with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB 

  • Proficiency in data structures and algorithms. 

  • Proven expertise in Java, OOP principles, clean design, and design patterns. 

  • Deep understanding of modern cloud technologies and design patterns for building “always-up” services 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Unending curiosity, thoroughness, tenacity, and focus on quickly designing and building sophisticated software systems with great quality to solve customer problems 

  • Experience with Containers and CI/CD systems (like Argo CD and GitOps) 

  • Experience with other big data tech stacks and data cleanrooms (like Snowflake) is highly desirable 

  • Experience with AEP and Generative AI is a plus 

 

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
