Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and assigned posts while assisting with visitor directions, policy awareness, and other security-related support functions aligned with site expectations.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of observations, incidents, and/or unusual activity, and relay important information during shift changes to support consistent site coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
