Job Function:

As an IPQC you will be responsible for monitoring quality standards for nearly all manufactured products. The IPQC Inspector’s duties include performing SMT first article inspection responsible to inspect, measure and identify the part marking, component measurement , component Identification, polarity of electronic components related to PCBA assembly, visual inspection using magnifying lens, microscope and basic measurement and inspection tools/devices, basic computer skills to read /record inspection data and information, be able to understand the IPC -A-610 standard to comply workmanship acceptability, communication with other department and function, and able to use AOI machine ( Automatic optic Inspection)


Shift: Day / Swing
Job Type: Full-Time / Contracted (Potential for Permanent Conversion)


Responsibilities:
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble units
  • Perform SMT in-process inspection on electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA assembly
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Use basic inspection tool/device, example: magnifying lens, microscope, caliper, and color pantone
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills:
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA contract manufacturing
  • Accuracy for documentation
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
  • Common sense to solve practical problems
  • Knowledge of ESD, IPC-600/610, workmanship standards and experience
  • Attention to detail

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Minimum of1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Language: English proficiency is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Pay: $22/hour +10% differential for Swing Shift
