Security Flex Officer

Description

 Locations: This position will require you to work at different locations in San Jose, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Hayward.
Shift & Hours: On Call. Must be available for Holidays and weekends. This is all based on your availability sheet.
Requirements:

• Get called in 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour before shift.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site
• Securing events, coverage, public and private sites, and parties.
• Mobile Patrol (not required)
• Carry out instructions as documented in site Post Orders
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment
• Patrols assigned site on foot; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Will make 911 and emergency calls
• Have to deal with homeless individuals
• Responds to all alarm and emergency incidents
• Prepares logs and reports as required
• Utilizing TrackTik scans throughout the site
• Other duties as assigned
• Failure to pick-up shifts (declining 3 or more shifts in a 30-day period), agreed upon the signed employee availability form, can result in removal as a flex, rate change, and/or termination from the company.Shift & Hours: Must be available for weekends and nights

Environment: Indoor and Outdoor; Construction locations

Requirements

  Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a current BSIS Security Guard Card License
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Some sites require no visible tattoos or piercings
• Ability to patrol outdoors in different weather conditions
• Excellent report-writing skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional attitude
• Ability to pass an extensive background screening process by Creative Security and the client
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
