Under limited supervision, the Memory Support Manager coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. This is a beautiful Life plan community and an intimate group of residents. Enjoy a free lunch in our Bistro. The salary range is $65,000-$75,000 and up, depending on experience. Work Duties * Keeps the HumanGood Memory Support Program Philosophy at the core of all planning and implementation of activities and care to meet the specific needs of residents; * Supervises Team Members in Memory Support; supervision includes management of work schedules, hiring, training, evaluating, employee development, coaching, discipline, salary increases, and adjustments; * Leads by example and collaborates with Community Life Coordinator to ensure team members engage residents in programs * Provides orientation for new residents and family members; * Conduct and promote support and/ or educational groups for residents/ families; * Communicates with resident family members in a respectful and caring manner and provides information regarding residents daily life as appropriate; uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations; * Coordinates with the Director of Wellness and Assisted Living when significant changes in residents occur which may lead to a level of care change or adjustment; * Performs various related essential duties as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education * High School Diploma or equivalent; * Bachelor Degree preferred Experience/Training * Must have at least 2-5 years of Memory Care experience with people living with dementia, and at least 1 year of supervision experience. * Prefer 2+ years experience in assisted living management or life plan community (CCRC) or Memory Care * First Aid certification and CPR training required What's in it for you?
