As part of our Core Security product team, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop highly scalable software products and services to support ransomware & threat detection, Certificate management and building next generation Identity resilience solution:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver next-generation security features for Cohesity DataProtect & SaaS Platform  

• Architect, design, develop and operationalize  high performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient services

• Understand the nuances of Linux Internals, Software packaging, Malware & IAM Security, and architect solutions that are efficient at running as On-Prem software or as SaaS on public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Coordinate features and deliverables across multiple teams to achieve project goals

• Collaborate with cloud operations to establish KPI for different services and own end to end delivery and lifecycle management

• Lead initiatives and projects. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

What we are looking for:

• BS/MS. in Computer Science 

• 4-5 years in software development, with data structures/algorithms, distributed systems, ML, ETL Pipeline 

• 3+ years of experience with software design and Architecture. 

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making

• Hands-on coding skills in at least one of the following languages: C++, Golang, Python

• Grpc & REST API based application development.

• Distributed systems design and development is plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge in Security, Ransomware, IAM, File systems, or Data Protection is a plus

• Motivated to solve complex problems and challenges. 

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices architecture is a plus

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
