Students learn how to apply the scientific method of inquiry and problem solving to real-life situations encountered outside the lab.   Responsibilities: Teach five academic classes, including College Prep Physics, and AP Physics 1 Align instruction and assessment with department outcomes and graduation outcomes Be familiar with educational research and current literature in academic area Teach physics in a dynamic, hands-on, student centered, lab based, technology integrated learning environment Collaborate with colleagues both within the department and across the curriculum Responsible for co-curricular assignment and mentoring advising small group of students Support the mission of the school and the Hallmarks of a Notre Dame de Namur Learning Community   QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
