Summary:

At PRESNow, our Registered Nurses are at the forefront of delivering exceptional care when patients need it most. Working in a unique environment that combines freestanding emergency and urgent care services, RNs use critical thinking, clinical expertise, and compassionate care to assess, prioritize, and coordinate treatment for diverse patient populations. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient experiences while upholding evidence-based nursing standards and best practices.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Evenings (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation using the nursing process.

  • Prioritize and coordinate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Perform and document patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and implement evidence-based protocols and standards of care.

  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and facilitate patient/family education and discharge planning.

  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural interventions.

  • Delegate and supervise patient care activities in accordance with staff competencies and scope of practice.

  • Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and professional role model for team members, new hires, and students.

  • Maintain required competencies, certifications, licensure, and continuing education while adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and departmental activities that support exceptional patient care.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Sign on and relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates.

FTE: 36 hours per week

Schedule: 11:00 AM-11:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

  • 1 year of emergency department or 18 months of ICU experience preferred

  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

  • ACLS & PALS required
