We are the proud artisans behind San Francisco's beloved bakery brand, La Boulangerie, with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in South San Francisco and San Leandro.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Prep and assemble products to specification.
- Comply with HACCP-plan and food safety requirements.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Ensures that cases and pallets are configured safely and in accordance with standards.
- Maintains a scheduled production through to meet team business goals.
- Maintains regular and consistent punctual attendance.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to understand written and verbal policies and guidelines, specifications and safety standards.
- Ability to work overtime as required, even on short notice.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule based on production needs. Starting time may vary up to 2 hours before or after starting time.
- Basic math skills.
- Operation of manual and automated processing equipment.
- Communicate to management when there is an issue, whether it is work related or personal.
- Must be able to follow strict safety, food security, and Good Manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Must be able to perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Summary of Experience
- Experience in Food Manufacturing production plants or in related area 1 Year.
Schedules:Early, Mid-day, Afternoon and Night schedules available.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Desirable high school diploma or its equivalent (a plus but not required).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to understand written and verbal policies and guidelines, specifications and safety standards.
- Ability to work overtime as required, even on short notice.
- Basic math and English skills.
- Communicate to management when there is an issue, whether it is work related or personal.
- Must be able to follow strict safety, food security, and Good Manufacturing practices (GMP).
