As a Pharmacy Technician you will:
Â
- Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.Â
- Accurately label products, including cautionary and auxiliary labels.Â
- Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding (liquids, powders, ointments, etc.).Â
- Enter patient and prescription data into the computer system to generate labels.Â
- Participate in pharmacy inventory management, including checking stock and removing expired medications.Â
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.Â
- Assist with onboarding and training new pharmacy staff.Â
- Perform specialized tasks that may include:Â
- Working in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room.Â
- Operating automated machines to prepack medications.Â
- Mixing IV medications and sanitizing IV room/equipment.Â
- Servicing facility-based dispensing machines (e.g., Omnicell).Â
- Perform other pharmacy support tasks as assigned.Â

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:  Â
- High School diploma or equivalent.  Â
- Pharmacy Technician license as required by stateÂ
- Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.  Â
- Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.  Â
- Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.  Â
