San Marcos Academy (SMA), located in San Marcos, one of the fastest growing regions in Texas, is a fully accredited private Christian school for students in PreK 3 through 12th grade, with a boarding program for students in grades 6–12. San Marcos Academy is accepting applications for custodians. This is a part-time position with 403b retirement available.  The work week is Monday through Friday, early mornings and day shifts.  

Responsibilities Include:

• Primarily responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary buildings on the campus of San Marcos Academy

• Vacuuming, sweeping, moping

• Cleaning glass doors, windows

• Remove all trash from building, office, hallways

• Clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures, showers, partitions, and surfaces

• Clean water fountains

• Clean chalkboards, chalk trays, and white boards where applicable 

• Clean Break Room sink, microwave, furniture 

• Clean light fixtures as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation:

Depending on experience 

Start Date:  

As soon as possible.

Requirements

•  Experience (preferred)
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work with others as a team
• Be able to work Monday-Friday with occasional weekend on-call duty
