Job DetailsJob Location: San Marcos Dealership - San Marcos, TX 78666Chuck Nash Chevrolet is looking for a dependable and organized Parts Warehouse Associate (Parts Puller) to join our Parts Department. This position is responsible for accurately locating, pulling, and distributing automotive parts for our Service Department technicians and other dealership departments. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable being on their feet throughout the day. Responsibilities Accurately locate and pull parts for technicians and repair orders Deliver parts to the appropriate technicians, service areas, and dealership departments Verify part numbers and quantities to ensure accuracy Stock incoming parts in their proper locations Assist with receiving and organizing parts shipments Maintain an organized and clean parts warehouse and storage areas Assist with inventory counts and help identify inventory discrepancies Return unused or incorrectly pulled parts to the appropriate inventory location Communicate with Parts Advisors and Service Department personnel regarding parts needs Follow dealership procedures for handling, tracking, and distributing inventory Assist the Parts Department with other duties as needed Qualifications Previous automotive parts, dealership, warehouse, or inventory experience is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of automotive parts is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to accurately follow part numbers, repair orders, and instructions Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift and carry automotive parts and supplies and perform the physical duties of the position We're looking for someone who understands that accuracy matters in a busy Parts Department. Getting the correct part to the correct technician quickly helps keep our Service Department moving and our customers' vehicles on schedule.
