Engineer, Full Stack

About The Role

To round out our team, we’re looking for an experienced full stack engineer to help us build our cloud security platform. We have an opportunity to re-think traditional security with an amazing customer experience, starting from the APIs we build (GraphQL / Node / Go) to the UX and UI we craft (React / Typescript). As an engineer, you’d also play an entrepreneurial role here; you’ll be working closely with our leaders outside engineering, and directly with customers, partners, and investors, as we grow our business and take our product from 0 → 1 → N. Bedrock Security is the latest investment of Greylock Partners. Greylock has backed a number of successful startups, including Palo Alto Networks, Sumo Logic, and Abnormal Security, along with non-security companies such as Airbnb, Figma, and Roblox.

What You'll Do

• Set Technical Direction:
• • Define the technical direction for our frontend.
  • Shape the architecture and design choices.
  • Maintain our technology stack which includes react, node and more.
• API Schema Definition:
• • Create and define the API schema for backend partners to implement.
• User Experience Advocacy:
• • Advocate for user experience and design integrity.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical Vision:
• • A vision for how frontend should be built and iterated, starting from scratch.
  • End-to-end development expertise (design, development, testing, maintenance, and performance).
• Best Practices:
• • Informed opinions on design and code reviews.
  • 2+ years of experience in full stack engineering using React, Typescript and Node.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL API design and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).

Compensation

Bedrock hires across a range of experience levels for this role. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $230,000 USD, depending on experience, scope, and leveling determined during the interview process. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
