Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Used Car Buyer to build our vehicle inventory through direct acquisitions. The primary focus of this position will be finding and purchasing quality used vehicles from Facebook Marketplace, private-party sellers, online classifieds, referrals, and street-level opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and negotiator who enjoys meeting people, identifying good vehicle opportunities, evaluating vehicles quickly, and negotiating purchases that make financial sense for the company.

This is a field-based, performance-driven role for someone who is comfortable being proactive rather than waiting for leads to come in.

Requirements

Actively source used vehicles through Facebook Marketplace, local online listings, private sellers, referrals, and community contacts.
Develop a consistent pipeline of potential vehicle purchases.
Contact sellers, qualify vehicles, and schedule inspections or appointments.
Conduct face-to-face vehicle inspections and evaluate overall condition.
Identify vehicles that fit the company's inventory needs and buying criteria.
Negotiate purchase prices and structure deals that meet company profitability targets.
Complete vehicle purchases professionally and efficiently.
Build relationships with repeat sellers, local vehicle owners, and referral sources.
