Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant
A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a newly established, modern dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, team-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, restorative, implant, and surgical procedures
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
- Review postoperative instructions with patients
- Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
- Monitor and restock clinical supplies
- Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Perform all duties permitted by the candidate’s California license and certifications
Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Current California Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant credentials, as applicable
- Current dental X-ray certification
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and infection-control requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and chairside assisting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a growing practice
