Dietary Aide

Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Routine food preparation and delivery services of cold or hot foods in the facility. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
• Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment.
• Adhere to menu compliance, special diet compliance and report any dietary non-compliance, concern or complaint of patients to dietician, supervisor or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

​LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:  

• ​ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state and facility.

• Valid California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide proof of age, as required for this position. 

Compensation for roles at Bayside Marin varies depending on a wide array of factors includingbut not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required bylocal law, Bayside Marin provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that maybe hired in California set forth below.Role Location: San Rafael, CaliforniaCalculated Hourly Range for role:California: $25.00 – $26.00 per hour
