About the Opportunity

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced operations leader to serve as a true business partner and right hand to the surgeon. The Office Manager / Practice Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across administrative, front office, and clinical functions—helping build systems, lead the team, and establish a strong operational foundation from day one.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, accountability, and collaboration while helping shape the culture and success of a growing practice.

What You’ll Do

Practice & Operations Leadership

  • Serve as the primary operational leader for the practice, partnering closely with the surgeon on day-to-day management and long-term planning.
  • Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including patient experience, team performance, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish goals, track performance, and recommend improvements to support growth and sustainability.
  • Lead implementation of policies, procedures, and operational best practices.

Team Leadership & HR Management

  • Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and manage front office and clinical staff.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management, including quarterly check ins, annual compensation reviews and disciplinary support as needed.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture focused on patient-centered care.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support patient volume and clinical flow.

Office & Patient Experience Oversight

  • Oversee office operations, patient flow, scheduling, and administrative processes.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality patient experience from first contact through post-procedure follow-up.
  • Maintain office systems, supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Step in to support front office functions as needed.

Clinical Operations Support

  • Partner with the surgeon to ensure efficient daily clinical operations.
  • Support quality assurance, clinical workflow coordination, and continuity of care.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication between clinical and administrative teams.

Facilities, Compliance & Administration

  • Oversee the physical environment of the practice, ensuring a safe, organized, and professional workspace.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting.
  • Identify operational issues proactively and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the practice.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, dental, or medical practice management
  • Prior experience overseeing administrative and/or clinical teams
  • Strong understanding of front office operations, patient flow, and staff leadership
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with confidence, empathy, and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Dental or oral surgery experience strongly preferred
