Assistant Community Manager


 We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Deer Creek Apartments in San Ramon, CA. This role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with housing regulations. You will help create a welcoming community while contributing to strong occupancy retention.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily property operations, leasing, and resident relations.
  • Manage resident records including move-ins, deposits, rent changes, collections, evictions, move-outs.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions and concerns.
  • Review and process invoices for contracted services.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards.
  • Process invoices and receivable in Yardi 
  • Review market survey report monthly, consult with Community Manager to change rentals rates and specials to increase occupancy and rental income.
  • Seek and support opportunities to increase and promote positively to the property’s on-line reputation management. 


Qualifications

  • College degree or related course work in business, hospitality, property management or accounting preferred
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in similar position 
  • Experience in leasing and apartment accounting/bookkeeping

Skills

  • Effective problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle residents in a professional, diplomatic manner.
  • Experience utilizing property management software, preferably Yardi IQ platforms
