Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year. The successful candidate's starting base will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.  It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the base range for this role.

You are a detail‑driven accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and ensuring financial accuracy. You’re comfortable managing inventory‑related transactions, POs, and reconciliations, and you thrive in a collaborative environment. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and are motivated to help strengthen and streamline accounting processes as the company grows.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including cash, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable using Bill.com and internal workflows.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
  • Support inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, valuation, and cost‑of‑goods‑sold analysis.
  • Review, process, and track purchase orders (POs) in coordination with Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory receipts, vendor invoices, and PO variances.
  • Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Assist with financial reporting, audit requests, and documentation of accounting procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Sales to ensure accurate financial data and timely issue resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and Bill.com.
  • Understanding of inventory accounting, PO workflows, and cost accounting concepts.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with hands‑on involvement in inventory and PO processes.
  • Experience supporting audits or preparing audit documentation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or process automation tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, formulas).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and handling documents.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally (files, binders, office supplies, small equipment).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed to access files, office equipment, or storage areas.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read financial documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens for long durations.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment, including exposure to moderate noise levels from office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail during extended periods of analytical or repetitive work.
