Surface Crew Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

Entry level position for Surface Crew.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operating Construction Class Equipment (Telehandlers, forklifts, Articulated Haul Trucks, etc.)
• Work safely around moving equipment.
• Requires working up to 16-hour shifts
• Various duties assigned to include; basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, custodial, and Landscaping
• Responsible for executing tasks throughout the Plant

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to work rotating shifts/days.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Skilled in basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, custodial, and Landscaping Skills & abilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
