Corrpro Companies is looking to hire a Warehouse and Shipping Department Supervisor. Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, and municipal water, sewer and gas utilities. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift operator certification
5 years of experience in processing operations in a manufacturing warehouse and shipping environment
3 years of general warehouse experience including forklift and skid steer operation to load and unload trucks
Hazardous Material Handling training preferred
Experience in quality assurance processes, testing, monitoring and documentation and strong leadership skills are required
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower, be a strong communicator able to take initiative and function independently
Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and ERP data entry, preferably JD Edwards
Must be capable of making people management decisions and comfortable in a management position
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Â

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and direct the processing activities to ensure production efficiency in the Warehouse and Shipping Department
Supervise the activities and staff engaged in Shipping, Receiving, Manufacturing and Order Fulfillment
Ensure accurate accounting of inventory incoming, outgoing and cycle counting.
Oversee and provide training for staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
Interpret, apply and enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations and safety rules
Assign employees to jobs and ensure quality and quantity standards are being met
Complete and submit all applicable shop paperwork
Ensure production schedules are met
Plan and conduct safety meetings
Address customer service issues in daily production meetings
Correspond and verbally communication in a professional manner with customers
Interview, select and hire staff required to meet production goals
Monitor plant efficiency and make decisions on process operating conditions.
Assist in implementation of cost control programs, ISO, 5S and other ongoing quality control programs, as well as developing departmental procedures and practices
Maintain effective liaison with field office and sales staff to discuss schedules, production cost feasibly, non-standard products, material availability and other matter of mutual concern
Correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with employees and customers
Represent Corrpro in a professional manner, with a high degree of respect for all existing and potential customers
