Direct Hire Licensed Vocational Nurse Role $27.44-$36.76 per hour in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) to provide care to patients within an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assists with patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, focusing heavily on rehabilitation and recovery
• Observe patients for any changes in condition, including physical or mental health status, and report concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Communicate patient status and needs to the interdisciplinary team, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and family members
• Provide exceptional care that helps to restore and maintain function, and prevent complications
• Performs hands-on nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to achieve quality outcomes for clients
• Other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
• Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN) license in state of practice required
• CPR certification required
• Acute Care experience required
• One year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting is preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience is preferred.
Compensation and Schedule:
• Hourly rate begins at $27.44 but can be significantly more based on years of experience and skills plus generous shift differentials
