This is a full-time position responsible for assisting with our outside grain operations. The position works as part of a team to safely and efficiently handle grain, maintain grain quality, and keep equipment and facilities in good working condition. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with all aspects of grain elevator and outside grain operations. Receive, dry, and unload grain. Measure and monitor grain inventory on a regular basis. Maintain grain conditions by testing temperatures and blending grain as needed. Operate and assist with the maintenance of grain handling equipment. Perform equipment and facility maintenance. Maintain clean and orderly work areas and complete required housekeeping records. Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Work as part of a team to support daily grain operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions. Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and work around grain handling equipment and facilities. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally more. Work around grain dust, noise, machinery, and other conditions common to grain operations. Follow required safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One year of related experience in grain handling, agriculture, equipment operation, or a similar field. Basic computer skills.
