Banquets Setup Supervisor
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquets Setup Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the setup, service, and cleanup of all assigned banquet functions. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and physically active role. The right candidate is someone who takes pride in hard work, leads from the front, and thrives in a dynamic convention environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the setup of meeting and banquet functions, checking them against the banquet event orders (BEO’s).
- Supervise and assist with the setup of assigned catered functions, ensuring that the hotel’s standards are met, and advance preparation for service is adequate to allow efficient service to the guest once the function begins.
- Supervise the work of staff by delegating assignments and checking the quality of completed work.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, stack and move chairs, tables, staging, and other banquet equipment throughout the shift, including lifting 30 pounds or more.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team is required; hospitality or event-related experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible and adaptable when it comes to scheduling. Shift lengths may vary based on event schedules.
- Must be able to remain calm, focused, and solution-oriented in stressful, high-pressured situations.
- Detail-driven and accountable. Understands the importance of accuracy, safety, and meeting event specification.
