Position Summary

Toft Dairy is seeking a dependable Part-Time CDL Class A Driver to assist with our Indiana delivery route on Mondays and Thursdays. This position involves traveling to multiple customer locations in Indiana and returning to Sandusky the same day with another company driver.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service while representing Ohio's oldest dairy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes.

• Travel to multiple customer locations in Indiana and return to Sandusky the same day.

• Work as part of a two-driver team during assigned routes.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

• Complete required delivery and transportation paperwork accurately.

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Toft Dairy positively.

• Communicate effectively customers and fellow driver.

• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.

• Current DOT Medical Card.

• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

• Experience operating a 10-speed manual transmission preferred.

• Strong safety record and attention to detail.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.

• Ability to climb in and out of the truck throughout the workday.

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to safely perform all duties associated with commercial vehicle operation.
