Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly Beecher Carlson, is looking for an Account Executive to join the Managed Care team within our National Healthcare Practice.

In this role, you will, in collaboration with the Producer, manage Provider Excess, HMO Reinsurance, Employer Stop Loss, and Medical Excess accounts. For assigned accounts, the Account Executive will oversee day-to-day client service as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations of client needs, ensuring seamless service.
  • Analyze historical losses and current exposures to recommend coverage solutions.
  • Interpret actuarial data and analytics to help inform coverage structure
  • Prepare and deliver market submissions, placement presentations, and proposals.
  • Manage the reporting and monitoring of the clients’ claims submissions.
  • Cultivate client and carrier relationships and participate in new business development.
  • Leverage internal resources (actuarial, claims, loss control) to maximize client value.
  • Maintain required state broker licenses and adhere to company policies.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
  • Adhere to Brown & Brown best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • If not already held, must obtain A&H and/or P&C broker licenses.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead client and market discussions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Power Point and Excel.
     

Additional Requirements

  • Captive experience preferred but not required.
