Our locations include Atlanta, Columbus, Gwinnett, Dalton, Marietta, Macon, Tucker, Stockbridge, Roswell, and the Surgery Center of Roswell. We are growing and are looking for a Clinical Medical Assistant Float to join our Sandy Springs team. The ideal candidate will have experience, be willing to travel between clinic locations, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. 


  Clinical Medical Assistant Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and room patients
  • Manages HBOT schedule to include calling patients to confirm appointments and answering questions, escorting patients into the HBOT area, orientation to the unit, and presenting during the procedure.
  • Escorts patients to check out after.
  • Writes procedure notes and assigns them to provider staff to review and sign.
  • Will train other staff to operate the unit as requested.
  • Scribe for office visit notes for providers as assigned.
  • Completes paperwork for providers, as assigned.
  • Acts as a resource for the clinical floor to fill into room patients, dispense medications, and perform other tasks that may be needed when the clinic gets very busy or in acute staffing needs
  • Accurately take a patient history and document it in EMR
  • Perform x-rays as directed by the provider (we’ll teach)
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Dispense medication as instructed by the provider
  • Act as a liaison between providers and patients

 Requirements

  • This is a flexible, high-responsibility position; therefore, we seek a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Travel is required
  • Fluent in both English/Spanish, written and verbal - Required
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Willingness to learn is a Must
