What you'll do:

  • Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed
  • Accurately document all administrations in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans
  • Observe residents and promptly report changes, concerns, or needs to licensed nursing staff or appropriate department leaders
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and team operations

What we're looking for:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical information in English
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken English
  • Perform basic math, including calculations with standard and weight measurements
  • Demonstrate empathy and strong customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required
  • Long-term care or geriatric experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. and assist with resident handling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in environments with exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
