Nasson Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinical sites in Springvale and Biddeford, Maine. We serve York County and neighboring communities through provision of fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care.

Patient Services Representative

40 hours/week; 52 weeks/year

The Patient Services Representative works collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to support the delivery of comprehensive primary care within a Patient-Centered Medical Home model. This role is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and positive patient experience.


Responsibilities include:

•    Patient registration and insurance verification 

•    Appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out 

•    Managing incoming calls and electronic communications 

•    Patient account support and administrative duties 

•    Scanning documents, running reports, and maintaining accurate records 

•    Providing clear explanations of services, programs, and eligibility requirements 

We are looking for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.


Experience & Qualifications

•    One year of experience in a medical or dental office is preferred, but not required 

•    Strong customer service experience is highly valued 

•    High school diploma or equivalent required 

•    Excellent communication and phone skills 

•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks 

•    Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred

•    Experience with electronic medical records preferred; NextGen experience is a plus
