POSITION DETAILS

The General Manager oversees studio functionality from sales and retention to community engagement. The GM will have an assigned lead staff member in each studio for additional support. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or 2 yrs. College preferred min.
  • Sales Management: 1 year (Required)
  • Leadership/Team Management-Supervision: 1+ year (Required)
  • Boutique Fitness Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales and customer service
  • Experience supervising personnel and assigning tasks.
  • Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, retail, private rides, and teacher training
  • Passionate about fostering B2B partnerships and community engagement
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible to studio work schedule
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  • Ability to excel in a fast changing and diverse environment
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet Studio Goals and implement plan and strategies to achieve them
  • Provide exceptional level of customer service at the studio to existing members via face-to-face, phone and email.
  • Contact prospects/leads to schedule Pilates class and enroll them on Intro classes or sell membership
  • Evaluate and assess monthly studio KPIs (key performance indicators) to improve studio results.
  • Manage Studio on Social Media in order to promote the studio and help to generate leads.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio incoordination with regional general manager and owner
  • Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
  • Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class
  • Ensure that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Supervise team and assure they meet their goals
  • Proficiency in Club Ready and POS system, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
  • Collect out-standing dues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • Enforce company and studio policies and procedures
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  • Create and manage staff schedule
  • Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Partner with Lead Instructor to ensure class experience and attendance are above standard
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service

Pay: Starting at $45,000.00
