General Laborer

Job DetailsJob Location: Sanford, FL 32772Job Category: ConstructionWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, and basic operation of tools and equipment. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: The primary duties for general labor include, but are not limited to: Perform general labor tasks such as digging, shoveling, raking, sweeping, and site cleanup Use hand tools and small equipment including hammering pins, tampers, jumping jacks, and concrete chop saw Set up, inspect, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications Assist in the placement of construction materials manually or with the use of equipment Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves as required Remove rubble, debris, and other waste materials from construction sites Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times Assist skilled tradespeople as needed Qualifications Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred, but not required Active Driver license. Must have a safety-first attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 75 pounds. Strong work ethics, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
